The Chief Commissioner of Income-tax (Cadre Controlling Authority),Ahmedabad invites applications from Indian citizens for the recruitment ofmeritorious sportspersons in different games and sports, as listed below, for the posts of
Inspector of Income-tax
in the pay scale ofRs.9300-34800/- (Grade PayRs.4600/-)
Tax Assistant
in the pay scale ofRs.5200-20200/-(Grade PayRs.2400/-)
Multi Tasking Staff
in the pay scale ofRs.5200-20200/- (Grade PayRs.1800/-)
Probation Period : The probation period will be of 2 (two) years
Eligibility Conditions
Post : Inspector of Income Tax
Age Limit : 18-27 Years
Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognized university or equivalent
Total Vacancies : 03
Post : Tax Assistant
Age Limit : 18 -27 Years
Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognized university or equivalent and Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depression per hour
Total Vacancies : 15
Post : Multi Tasking Staff
Age Limit : 18 - 25 Years
Educational Qualification : Matriculation equivalent from a recognized university / Board
Total Vacancies : 10
Last Date : 17th May 2013
Total Post : 03+15+10 = 28
SPORTS ELIGIBILITY:
Appointments can be made of a sportsperson in any of the games/sports (asmentioned in para (5) considered meritorious with reference to the following criteria:
Sports-persons having represented
(i) The Country in an International Competition, (ii) A state in a NationalCompetition. (iii) Their University in the Inter-University Tournamentsconducted by the Inter-University Sports Board. (iv) The State Schools Teamin the National Sports / Games for schools conducted by All India SchoolGames Federation; or (v) Sportsperson, who has been awarded NationalAwards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Note :The merit of sportspersons, who fulfill the aforesaid eligibility conditions, shall
be considered / decided in the order of preference given above
HOW TO APPLY:
Applications must be submitted in the format given in Annexure-ll and addressed to the ITO (PR), O/o Chief Commissioner of Income-tax (CCA),Room No.44, Ground Floor, Aaykar Bhavan, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad-380009, Gujarat
by post / by hand so as to reach the office on or before 17.05.13 (up to 5.00 p.m.)
The envelope containing the application shall also be super scribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF .................... UNDER MERITORIOUS SPORTS PERSONS QUOTA / SPORTS CODE-..................”
