(a) The age of UR candidates should not be less than 15 years and more than 24 years i.e. the
date of birth 01.09.1992 to 01.09.2001.
(b) The age of OBC candidates should not be less than 15 years and more than 27 years i.e.
date of birth should be within 01.09.1992 to 01.09.2001.
(c) The age of SC/ST candidates should not be less than 15 years and more than 29 years i.e.
date of birth should be within 01.09.1997 to 01.09.2001.

Qualification:Candidates must have passed Matriculation, 10th (10+2 system) or equivalent recognized examination from recognized Board/University with not less than 50% marks and must have I.T.I, degree in the trades notified above. Candidates without I.T.I, degree in above notified
trades need not apply.

East Central Railway Recruitment 2016 – Scout & Guide Quota Posts: General Manager (P), East
Central Railway, Hajipur has published a notification for the recruitment of Scout & Guide Quota vacancies for Head quarter and divisions of 2016-17. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 29-08-2016 for normal areas & 12-09-2016 for remote areas. Total No of Posts: 12

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18-29 years for S.No-01, 18-32 years for S.No-02 as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST category, 3 years for OBC category & 10 years for Physically Challenged Persons.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 12th with 50% marks from recognized board or its equivalent or higher education for S.No-01, 10th from recognized board or ITI or equivalent or higher education for S.No-02.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or in English along with one recent passport size photograph in full Scout/ Guide uniform duly signed to be pasted on the application in prescribed format, fee, necessary proof for claiming fee refund, xerox copy of certificates attested by gazetted officer/ self attested in support of age, educational qualification, participation certificate, caste certificate & envelope containing the application with all enclosures should clearly be indicated “Application against Scout & Guide Quota”, “Employment Notice No. ” and “Grade Pay” on the top of the envelope to General Manager (Personnel), Recruitment Section, East Central Railway, Headquater Office, Hajipur, Distt:- Vaishali, Bihar, PIN-844101 by ordinary post on or before 29-08-2016 for normal areas & 12-09-2016 for remote areas.

How to apply:The given format should be neatly typed or hand written either in English or Hindi on a A-4 size paper and should be filled in own hand writing.
