Ganesh Shinde was a contestant who appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati in March 2001 and won 320,000 rupees. He became the first contestant on KBC Winner to lose 4,680,000 rupees. He was even warned not to take a chance as he would have to go home with only Rs 320,000, instead of the 1 crore he was winning until then.
