Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 and maximum 27 years of age
Last Date: Last date of submission application forms 09.04.2013 and residents of North East region by 16-04-2013
Application Fees: Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the officer mentioned under website http://www.davp.nic.in
Pay Scale: Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
Driving Licence :
The candidate should have a valid driving licence for
(i) Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle;
(ii) Light Motor Vehicle
(iii) Motor cycle with gear
Experience: 03 years experience of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle/Transport Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidates.
Physical Efficiency Test:
(i) Run 800 Meters to be completed in 3 minutes and 15 Seconds.
(ii) Long Jump 11 feet (Candidate will be given 3 chances)
(iii) High Jump 3 feet 6 inches (Candidate will be given 3 chances)
Written Test and Trade Test:
1 Written Test : Total Marks-20,Qualifying Marks-10
2 Driving test for light vehicle: Total Marks-50,Qualifying Marks-25
3 Driving test for heavy vehicle: Total Marks-50,Qualifying Marks- 25
4 Practical knowledge of motor mechanism and ability to carry out minor repair of vehicles.:Total Marks-30,Qualifying Marks-15
Medical Examination:
After preparation of merit list, the candidates selected in order of merit (equal to the allotted number of category wise vacancies) will be put through a detailed medical examination to assess their fitness.
Final Selection:
The candidates found medically fit will be finally selected.
HOW TO APPLY:
Interested candidates can apply, and application form can download from website http://www.davp.nic.in. Candidates found there some important address and (i)Name of the Officer to whom application should be sent (ii) Postal Order on account of application fee required to be drawn in favour of (iii) office where postal order will be payable.
Important Instruction :
Only eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed proforma.Application may be filled up either in English or Hindi only.
(i) Photostat copies of the Educational qualification certificate(s) in proof of age and educational qualification etc., issued by a recognized University/Board duly attested by a Gazetted Officer be enclosed.
(ii)Photostat copies of SC/ST and OBC certificate on the proforma prescribed by the Central Government as per Appendix – ‘D’, ‘E’ of the Notification
(iii)Two self addressed envelopes (8 x 19 Cms size) duly affixing postal stamps for Rs.22/-(Rupees twenty two only) each thereon.
(iv) Two additional self signed (in the front) passport size photographs are required to be attached duly clipped alongwith application form.
(v) Questionnaire as per Appendix – ‘B’ duly filled in and signed by the candidate
(vi) Admit Card as per Appendix – ‘C’ duly filled in and signed by the candidate
(vii) Attested Photo copy of valid driving licence for Heavy Motor Vehicles (or Transport Vehicles), Light Motor Vehicles and Motor Cycle with gear.
(viii) Photostat copy of 03-years driving experience certificate and Photostat copy of Domicile certificate
(ix) The envelope containing above documents should be super scribed “APPLICATION FOR
