Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 33 years and 18 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for PwD candidates as per Government rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Certificate of competency issued by Maharashtra Maritime Board/ Mercantile Marine Dept for Post a, b, c, SSC or equivalent for Post d1, d7, d8, d9, d11, d12, d 13, d14, d17, d18, d19, e, f1, SSC/ HSC with Diploma in Mechanical for Post d2, d5, SSC/ HSC with Diploma in Electrical for Post d3, SSC with Diploma in Mechanical for Post d4, Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Production for Post d6, passed NAC in the trade of Machinist for d10, passed NAC in the trade of Diesel Mechanic for d 15, SSC & the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in Diesel Mechanic/ Motor Vehicle Mechanic trade for d16, passed NAC in the trade of Trainee Compressor Attendant for d20, VIII std for d21, d22, d23, d24, passed SSC and NAC in Motor Vehicle Body Builder for f2, passed SSC and NAC in Trainee Chipper Grinder for f3.
